Bullitt County Fair Board invites you to participate in a “Chocolate Championship” Use your most decadent chocolate recipe to enter a chocolate dessert or treat. Create your best chocolate dessert or treat using at least one premium baking chocolate product (chips, bars, and/or cocoa). Chocolate product must be indentified in recipe.
Rules:
1. Deadline for entry is June 16, 2010. See general Home Economics Rules for entry fee. Dish ready for judging is due at time/date specified. 2. Entry is to be made at home and brought to the Bullitt County Fair for judging at the date and time specified. 3. Each entry must be accompanied by the recipe on a 8-1/2” x 11” sheet of paper, with name, address, and phone number on the back. 4. Create your best recipe using at least one premium chocolate baking product and no more than 10 other ingredients. 5. Recipe must list ingredients with measurements and preparation instructions with baking / cooking times and number of servings. 6. Contest is for amateur bakers only. No professionals. 7. Judging will be based on appearance, originality, taste and ease of preparation. 8. Entrants must be present to win. Winners agree to release the recipe and allow photographs of winners and dishes to local media and Slow Poke Farm. 9. Due to Kentucky Health Regulations, there will be no tasting of the entries by the public. 10. The judges will disqualify dishes entered that are suspect of improper handling. All decisions made by the judges are FINAL. “What is your favorite Bullitt County Wine to serve with chocolate dessert?” |
