VEHICLE CLASSIFICATIONS

Bullitt County Only Class

1. This is strictly a stock class. (No race trucks). This class is designated

for ordinary, everyday, street-drive 4-wheel drive vehicles.

2. Tires: Any size D.O.T. (No Cuts).

3. Body, frame, and drive must be of same make.

4. Headers OK. No open exhaust.

5. Lift kits OK.

6. Open and soft tops must have roll bars.

7. Bumpers, tailgates or nets required.

8. Full body required. No modifications.

9. Safety: Both general and safety rules apply.

10. Proof of insurance and registration are required and must be in the

name of the driver or his immediate family. This is responsibility of

driver and will be enforced – NO EXCEPTIONS.

11. Must have seat belts and helmet.

12. There will be no tracking in this class.

 

4 & 6 Cylinder Class

1. Tires: Any size D.O.T. (No cuts)

2. Body: Body, frame and drive train must be of same make. Inside of

tires may not exceed the body.

3. Engine: No after market blocks or heads.

4. Carburetor: Single carburetor. Not nitrous. Pump gas only.

5. Suspension: Factory type (lift kits and traction bars OK).

6. Exhaust: must be past cab and must have muffler.

7. Safety: Both general and safety rules apply.

8. Must have seat belt and helmet.

9. There will be no tracking in this class.

 

Super Stock Class

1. Tires: Any size D.O.T. (No Cuts)

2. Body: Factory body and frame. Front fenders may be cut more than

3 inches to get clearance of tires. Absolutely no altering or gutting in

any other form. Nets can be used in place of tailgate.

3. Engine: Engine swaps. No aluminum blocks. OEM aluminum heads

permitted. Proof of OEM availability responsibility of driver.

4. Carburetor: single carburetor. No nitrous or alcohol mixes.

5. Suspension: Stock. Lift kits and traction bars OK. Front suspension

is allowed no more than a 21 block. Rear suspensionmust consist of at

least 3 leaf springs.

6. Exhaust:Headers OK. Must point up, down, or back.

7. Fuel Tanks: Fuel cell OK.

8. Seats: Allseats will be in place. Race seat OK.Must have passenger

seat.

9. Open and soft-top vehicles must have roll bars.

10. All vehicles in this class will be considered “street legal.” All glass

will be in place. Lights will be operational. Wipers, fan and etc. will be

in place but do not have to operational.

11. Both general and safety rules will apply.

12. There will be no tracking in this class.

13. Each vehicle will have one race to conform to comedic rules.

14. Inside or tires must not exceed the body.

 

Pro-Stock Class

1. Tires: Any size D.O.T. (No cuts)

2. Body – may be steel and/or fiberglass must resemble factory available

vehicle. Must be truck or jeep. Wheel and tires will match up

under fenders, as far as length is concerned. All doors and/or sheet

metal must be in place. Gutting allowed but must have bedsides. Full

firewall must be in place.

3. Engine: Engine swaps allowed. No aluminum blocks. Motor can be

set back no more than 6 inches from the center of the front differential

to the front of the leading head.

4. Carburetor: Single carburetor. No nitrous or alcohol mixtures.

5. Suspension: Stock type frame. 3 or 4 link and coil over shocks

allowed.

6. Exhaust: Up or downdraft headers OK.

7. Roll Cage: 6 point roll cage required.

8. Nitrous: If vehicle is capable of running nitrous, bottle must be

removed and line disconnected at solenoid.

9. Safety: Both general and safety rules apply.

10. Must have 4 point harness and helmet.

11.There will be no tracking in this class.

12. Drive shaft loops required, at least 2 per drive shaft. Fire extinguisher

2 1/2 lb. min. 11. Both general and safety rules will apply.

13. Each vehicle will ahve one race to comply to cosmetic rules.

14. Inside of tires must not exceed the body.

 

Modified Class

1. Tires: Any size D.O.T. Cut tires OK. Vetro-trax OK.

2. Carburetor: Any carburetor combination. Fuel injection allowed.

Nitrous and/or alcohol will be allowed. No nitro. No blowers.

3. Any type of frame, suspension, body or engine is allowed. The driver

will be enclosed on all sides.

4. Drive shaft loops, universal covers and transmission shield or blanket

will be required.

5. Must have 6 point roll cage.

6. Properly marked kill switch must be mounted on rear or vehicle.

7. Last truck of the first pass will have 2 minutes to return to line for

second pass.

8. Fire extinguisher 2 1/2 lb. minimum required.

 

Open Class

1. Tires: No paddle tires.

2. Must have a 6 point roll cage.

3. Must have 5 point harness and helmet.

4. Drive shaft loops required, 2 per shaft.

5. U-Joint covers and transmission shield or blanket required.

6. Fire extinguisher 2 1/2 lb. required.

7. Property maked kill switch must be mounted on rear or vehicle.

 

ANY ANNOUNCEMENTS MADE THE DAY OF THE EVENT

WILL TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER ALL WRITTEN MATERIAL.

NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED.

 

Participants and Crew Only allowed in Pit Area.
